Overview:

Web3 is a tool that enables our mission at Compass - to incentivize access to quality mental healthcare. In order to meet the demand for therapy, our thesis is centered around a decentralized approach, to cut out network limitations from insurance providers. Compass Providers are a part of a user-owned provider network that is designed for therapists, by therapists.

The Compass Provider Network is a decentralized network that replaces outdated models of therapy marketplaces with a liquid, algorithmically controlled marketplace governed by network participants. The network runs on the Polygon blockchain with a native governance token called $MGTS (Magnets), driven by progressive decentralization and token incentives, earning tokens through active participation from providers, such as:

In addition, members use $MGTS to purchase coaching sessions, and coaches use $MGTS to enhance their profiles or take courses to level up their skills.

Members engage in “Squads”, our peer support system for sub-clinical mental fitness or 1:1 coaching with our providers. In order to participate, members must complete a peer specialist mental health learning sprint, which will allow them access to our network of coaches and providers.

Through the Compass Provider Network, members request coaching, specifying parameters for providers such as. They are matched accordingly with providers, who opt-in to the request. Compass Providers are segmented into three verticals:

Compass Ambassadors:

Mental health advocates who serve as content creators for the Compass platform and grow our database of mental health stories.

Behavioral Health Coaches:

Holder's of an advanced degree in a psychology-related field or a coaching certification from an accredited program.

Licensed Clinicians:

Have an unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in at least one state and at least one year of post-licensed experience.

Our network will be started by Behavioral Health Coaches - who commonly tackle issues like life purpose, motivation, procrastination, relationships, and more. (We’ll plan to expand into working with Licensed Clinicians in 2023 and beyond)

Why? Evidence suggests that peer coaching can, amongst other things:
